Zodiac’s Winning Streak Ends in Seattle

The Seattle Sounders ended the Zodiac’s three-game winning streak with a 2-1 victory Friday night in an A-League soccer game at Memorial Stadium in Seattle.
The Zodiac (16-9) took a 1-0 lead nine minutes into the game on a goal by Kevin Wilson. The Zodiac’s Steve Patterson failed to score a goal for the first time in six games.
Seattle (15-9), which outshot the Zodiac, 18-5, responded with two goals before halftime. The victory clinches a playoff spot for Seattle.
