Residents with ideas about what should be studied during an environmental review of a planned commercial airport at El Toro Marine Corps Air Station are invited to comment at a special meeting tonight in Santa Ana.
The meeting will be at the Board of Supervisors hearing room, 10 Civic Center Plaza, in Santa Ana. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., residents can view preliminary documents of the county’s preferred plan for a commercial airport serving 24 million passengers a year at El Toro. Information on other alternatives also will be presented.
Public comments will be taken from 7 to 9 p.m.
