In other boys’ games:

Simi Valley 113, Roosevelt 52--The Pioneers set a school record for points in a game in winning their Simi Valley tournament opener.

Rafael Berumen had 37 points and 18 rebounds, Brett Michel scored 25 points and Fullove added 21 points and 12 assists.

The Pioneers shattered the previous best of 112 scored against Hart in 1987-88.

Notre Dame 61, Santa Paula 45--Cody Pearson had 20 points to help the Knights win in the Simi Valley tournament.

Chris Williams added 16 points and Dante Ward had 15 for Notre Dame.

Chaminade 74, Crawford (San Diego) 43--Scott Borchart scored nine of his 20 points in the third quarter and the Eagles scored the first 10 points of the second half of the pool-play victory in the West Hills tournament in San Diego.

Buena 71, Murphy 63--Peter Brown had 21 points and 16 rebounds for the Bulldogs (1-0) in Loyola tournament pool play.

Danny Thompson had 20 points for Buena (1-0).

In girls’ games:

North Hollywood 61, El Camino Real 41--Tashean Thomas made 11 of 21 shots and scored 25 to help the Huskies win in a Washington tournament semifinal matchup of two of the top City Section teams in the region.

Thomas scored eight points in the first quarter and North Hollywood (3-0) took a 15-3 advantage and led, 19-7, after the quarter.

Markia Derby had 14 points, 10 rebounds and six assists for North Hollywood.

The Huskies play Washington in the final at 5:30 tonight in a rematch of last season’s final.

El Camino Real is 2-1.

Alemany 65, Burroughs 47--Kate Beckler scored 23 points and the Indians (1-0) won a nonleague game at Burroughs (0-1).

Glendale 69, Saugus 55--Mania Houspian had 29 points and six rebounds to help the Dynamiters (1-0) win at Glendale.

Lexi Phelps scored 16 for the Centurions (0-1).

Moorpark 56, Pasadena 48--Damaris Hinojosa had 31 points, 15 rebounds and 10 steals for the Musketeers (1-0) in a victory at Pasadena (0-1).

Channel Islands 58, Valencia 38--Jaline Bradley scored 14 points with eight assists for the Raiders (1-0) in a victory at Channel Islands.

St. Bonaventure 64, Santa Paula 59--Stacey Howard scored 35 points for the Seraphs (1-0) at St. Bonaventure.
