Santa Available for Photos With Pets
Kids eager for Christmas aren’t the only ones who will have a chance to get their pictures taken with Santa this holiday season.
Dogs, cats, birds and other pets are invited to pose with jolly old St. Nick today during a photo session at the Humane Society of Ventura County’s shelter in Ojai.
The session will run from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Cost for sitting is $15 and includes a 4 x 6-inch photo in a holiday card. Additional photos and negatives will be available as well.
“This is a great opportunity for people to have a wonderful keepsake or holiday greeting card and support the Humane Society at the same time,” said Joyce George, president of the nonprofit agency’s board.
Photos will be available for pickup Monday or will be mailed.
Digital photos will also be available for $10 for those who want to memorialize their pet’s mug on a computer screen. Those pictures will taken from 10 a.m. to noon and images will be e-mailed to the purchaser or the e-mail of their choice.
