Orange County prosecutors Monday filed felony molestation charges against a 35-year-old Santa Ana woman who is accused of having sexual relations with a 13-year-old boy she met at Willard Intermediate School.

Heather Jean Graham, a homemaker and mother of three, was charged with three child molestation counts, Deputy Dist. Atty. Matt Murphy said. Graham, who is free on $50,000 bail after being arrested last month, is set to be arraigned today.

Graham’s attorney, John Barnett, would not comment, saying he had not yet reviewed the charges.

Graham was arrested by Santa Ana police in mid-November on suspicion of having had sexual relations with the eighth-grader. Police said Graham met the boy last spring while she was a parent volunteer for the school cheerleading squad.

Prosecutors filed charges after a monthlong investigation by Santa Ana police.

“Santa Ana P.D. did a very thorough investigation, and at this time there is enough evidence to proceed with these three charges,” Murphy said.
