There probably will be more shoppers out this weekend than many of us can handle, so here are a few suggestions for last-minute bargain gifts. And for the men who wait until this weekend to make their lists--much less check them twice--here are plenty of answers for them.

For the best prices on fragrances in the San Fernando Valley, head for Duty Free, where we found both the classics and the new entrees at remarkable prices.

For women, the classic Quelques Fleurs that retails for $145 is $69.99; Chanel’s #5 and #19, which each retail for $145, is $99. No milling throngs here at The Alley in the Valley, which has some great bargains at several stores offering apparel and gifts.
