District Studying Sites for New School
The Oxnard Elementary School District is studying the possibility of building a school in an unincorporated area northwest of the city.
Among the possible sites is a 14-acre parcel at Patterson and Gonzales roads, district officials said. The district is also considering other sites, said Robert Lundskog, director of facilities.
“We are currently looking at several sites and have not zeroed in on one,” Lundskog said. “In the next six months, we hope to select a site.” The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints owns a 14-acre parcel under consideration.
