Proposed School Materials Available for Public Review
Books, films and educational materials that two textbook evaluation committees serving the Redondo Beach Unified School District have proposed for the next school year will be available for review.
The proposed materials have been selected for English, language arts and health classes. After hearing public comments, the committees will make a final recommendation to the school board.
The instructional tools will be available for review from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Media Resource Center at the district offices at 1401 Inglewood Ave. The center will be open until 9 p.m. on Feb. 10 and Feb. 17 for evening viewings. The material will be available for review for one month.
