Canyon 3, Foothill 2--Rebekah Anderson scored twice in the second half as Canyon (16-7, 6-2), moved into a tie for first place with El Modena. Foothill (9-6-3, 5-2) is in third place.

In the Sea View League:

No. 6 Woodbridge 4, Irvine 0--Jessica Pagano scored two goals for Woodbridge (11-4-3, 5-0-2), which led, 2-0, at the half and remains in first place.

In the South Coast League:

No. 1 Capistrano Valley 4, Trabuco Hills 0--Haley Kuhn had four saves in her 13th shutout of the season for Capistrano Valley (19-0-3, 6-0-1). Lindsey Greco, Kim Abbamonto, Chandra King and Ashley Casas each scored for the Cougars.

No. 5 Mater Dei 2, Dana Hills 1--Tracey Winzen’s 15th goal of the season in the 60th minute gave Mater Dei (12-3-2, 3-3-1) a 2-0 lead.

No. 2 Mission Viejo 3, San Clemente 0--Hannah Cochrun got her 13th shutout of the season after making 13 saves for Mission Viejo (15-3-2, 6-0-1). Kate Desmond, Nicole Avila and Jen Mescher’s each scored for the Diablos.

In the Sunset League:

No. 3 Edison 1, Fountain Valley 1 (OT)--Julie Scheppele scored in the 48th minute to tie the score for Fountain Valley (8-8-4, 2-3-2). Lee Ann Morton scored a goal in the first half for Edison (14-2-3, 4-2-1).

No. 4 Los Alamitos 1, No. 9 Marina 0--Nikki Szlak scored the winning goal for Los Alamitos (11-3-4, 4-2-1) with less than two minutes remaining. The Griffins moved into a first-place tie with Edison. Marina’s Laura Riegler had a shot bounce off the crossbar on a corner kick with no time left on the clock. Marina (11-4-7, 2-2-3) is tied with Esperanza for third.

No. 10 Esperanza 2, Huntington Beach 0 (OT)--Esperanza’s Kim Domen scored three minutes into overtime when the momentum of her shot forced the ball past the goal line after goalkeeper Blythe Curran caught the ball. Stacy Jarne later scored off a rebound to seal the victory for Esperanza (11-6-2, 3-4-0). Kristin Skinner made seven saves for Esperanza for her ninth shutout of the season.
