Barry Returns to Practice

Clipper guard Brent Barry, who missed the final six games before the All-star break with a heel injury, returned to practice Monday.
Clipper Coach Bill Fitch is uncertain if Barry will play tonight against the Utah Jazz at Salt Lake City.
“He’s got tons of rust on his game,” Fitch said. “He needs to get about five practices like we had today, just for timing.
“We’ll see how his foot feels tomorrow. I don’t know if he’ll play. Based on today’s practice, it would be limited.”

The Clippers, who have lost 22 of 26 road games, play only one road game this month.
“I don’t know if it will help or not, but we’ve got a chance to stay at home and hopefully we can take advantage of it,” Fitch said. “Of course it’s better to be at home than on the road.”
