* UCLA (14-7, 9-3 Pac-10) at California (5-16, 1-10), 2 p.m., KYPA (1230, 5 p.m.)--Emphatically denied a move to the top of the Pac-10 by Stanford on Thursday, UCLA seeks to begin a new winning streak today. While the Bruins were losing big in Palo Alto, 105-80, Cal lost its ninth in a row, to USC, 62-50.

* USC (9-12, 4-8) at Stanford (14-5, 10-1), 7:30 p.m.--The Trojans arrive at Stanford just in time for Tara VanDerveer’s 300th victory. USC just ended a four-game losing streak, but the Cardinal has won eight in a row and 62 consecutive Pac-10 games at Maples Pavilion.
