PRESIDENTS DAY
Today is Presidents Day, created to celebrate the birthdays of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
* CLOSED: All government offices, courts, banks, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries, schools and many businesses. Metrolink trains are not running. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules. There will be no mail pickup or delivery. All post offices are closed, except World Way Air-Mail Center, 5800 Century Blvd., Los Angeles. Express and Special Delivery will be delivered.
* TRASH: Most trash collection agencies will maintain regular pickup schedules.
