Softball tournament postponed--The Tournament of Champions, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at Maxwell Park in Anaheim, wasn’t played because of wet fields.

The tournament has been rescheduled for March 14-15, according to Cypress Coach Brad Pickler. It marked the second consecutive tournament that was postponed because of weekend rain.

Cypress’ season-opening tournament also was lost and is scheduled this weekend. Cypress was 14-1 after two weeks last season but has yet to play a game this season.
