Alan Verzani

Villa Park, Senior; Basketball/Forward

He helped the Spartans win their third consecutive Century League title, recording a triple double in Wednesday’s 60-39 victory over Foothill. In the game, Verzani scored 20 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and blocked 10 shots. Verzani also had 10 points and 13 rebounds in Friday’s 54-47 victory over El Modena.

Zamiro Bennem/Basketball/Guard

* Magnolia, senior. With the playoffs yet to begin, he already has set a school record for career points with 604. He scored 34 in Friday’s 75-65 victory over Savanna, helping Magnolia win the Orange League title.

Roberto Blanco/Soccer/Forward

* Santa Ana Valley, senior. He scored two goals Wednesday and two more Friday, helping the Falcons win the Century League title.

Kevin Mehrens/Soccer/Goalkeeper

* San Clemente, senior. His 34th career shutout came against Capistrano Valley, and Tritons won to share South Coast League title.
