Migrating Pacific gray whales are on the move along the coast of California. Naturalists from Cabrillo Marine Aquarium and the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History will be on board to kick off a season of whale-watching trips to explain behavior and migration habits. Two- to three-hour trips scheduled today depart Redondo Sportfishing in Redondo Beach at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Catalina Cruises in Long Beach at 10 a.m.; and an all-day excursion leaves Sea Landing in Santa Barbara at 8 a.m.
