Road show: The Pepperdine women’s basketball team traveled to the Pacific Northwest last weekend and posted two come-from-behind victories.
Trailing by six points with 1:42 to play, Dana Sulenski made two three-point baskets to pull Pepperdine even and Angie White’s jump shot with one second left gave the Waves a 64-62 victory Thursday over Portland, ending the Pilots’ 25-game West Coast Conference home winning streak.
Saturday, the Waves (12-5, 2-0 in the WCC) beat Gonzaga, 84-81, in overtime.
