‘Private Eye’ to Discuss His Book

Don Crutchfield, a private investigator who has spent 30 years investigating for Hollywood’s rich and famous, will discuss and sign his new book, “Confessions of a Hollywood P.I.,” at 7 p.m. Saturday at Borders Books in Brea.

Crutchfield began his career as an investigator at age 18, and his client list has included such names as Marlon Brando, Elizabeth Taylor and Frank Sinatra. His book includes stories behind many famous headlines and scandals, and many stories that were never printed.
