Gore on Technology: Vice President Al Gore will visit Pacoima Elementary School on Saturday to discuss the use of technology to improve education. The school will kick off a Saturday program that will rely on computers to help immigrant students and others improve their English reading and writing skills. Gore is expected to focus on the program as an example of how schools in the 21st century should operate. “We are very excited about the visit,” said Assistant Principal Linda McClellan.
