Public Invited to Fair Planning Meeting
Orange County Fair officials will hold a public meeting today to outline fair preparations that range from parking to a sheep herding drive down Fairview Road. The fair starts Friday and runs through July 26.
Representatives from Ray Cammack Shows, the carnival company that helps stage the fair, will make a presentation along with officials from the state-owned fairgrounds. Topics include traffic, parking and cleanup plans, exhibits, security and the sheep drive. Residents can ask questions and raise concerns. A fairgrounds tour with fair staff members will follow.
Today’s meeting begins at 4 p.m. in Memorial Gardens at the fairgrounds, 88 Fair Drive.
