Friends of the Library Book Sale Starts Today

Looking for good books to read this summer? Paperbacks, hardcovers and specialty publications will be available at the Friends of the Anaheim Public Library book sale today and Saturday.

The sale will be at Central Library, 500 W. Broadway, from 4 to 8 p.m. today for Friends of the Library members.

The public sale will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. A clearance of leftover books for $1 a bag will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Also available will be sheet music, records, audio and videotapes and military history books.

Annual dues for the Friends of the Library are $3 per person, or $5 per family.

Proceeds from the book sale and membership dues are used to support the library, including a new compact disc lending program.
