Farr, Eubanks Named Spokesmen for Head Golf

Pacific Sports Holdings in Westlake Village announced that its subsidiary, SouthBay Golf Inc., has named Jamie Farr and Bob Eubanks as spokesmen for Head Golf equipment.

SouthBay Golf is the exclusive distributor of Head Golf equipment and accessories.

Farr, best known for his 11-year run on the “M*A*S*H” television series, was one of the founders of the Jamie Farr Kroger Classic LPGA Golf Tournament, which concluded Sunday at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio. The tournament has become a highlighted stop on the LPGA tour, and the purse has grown from $175,000 in 1984 to $800,000 this year. Since its inception, the tournament has donated more than $1.7 million to 25 local children’s charities.

Eubanks, who is a director of Pacific Sports Holdings, is best known as the host of TV’s “The Newlywed Game.” He also has been involved in rock and country music concerts and has managed entertainment industry celebrities during a 30-year career.

Both Farr and Eubanks will appear in advertisements and at events to promote Head Golf equipment.

Pacific Sports Holdings, which is in the active apparel and sports equipment business, operates under its three subsidiaries: Mardock Inc., SouthBay Golf Inc. and Outback Apparel Group.
