Low-Cost Shots for Pets to Be Offered Tonight
Dog and cat owners are invited to bring their pets to City Hall this evening to take advantage of a low-cost anti-rabies vaccination clinic.
The rabies vaccinations--offered by the Southern California Veterinary Medical Assn.--will cost $4 per pet. State, county and city ordinances require that all dogs at least 4 months old be vaccinated, according to the association.
Other inoculations will also be available. All dogs must be brought on a leash and all cats in pet carriers.
The clinic will be given from 6 to 8 p.m. at 12700 Norwalk Blvd.
