Services Set for Denny’s Founder Harold Butler
Memorial services for restaurant entrepreneur Harold Butler are scheduled for Aug. 2 at 4 p.m. at Temple Bat Yahm, 1011 Camelback St., Newport Beach.
His daughter, Cheryl Butler, said any memorial contributions can be sent to the Harold Butler Memorial Trust Fund in care of Kimberly Hansen at Pacific Trust Federal Credit Union, 27513 Ynez Road, Suite B-3, Temecula, CA 92591.
Butler, who created Denny’s among other chains, died July 9 of a heart attack in the Baja California city of La Paz, where he had lived for the past two years.
