New Sign Will Indicate Bayview Subdivision
A sign will soon give a Santa Ana Heights subdivision a more distinct identity: Bayview Heights Residential and Equestrian Neighborhood.
“We went back into the records and found out that was what it was called when the original tract map was filed with the county,” said Roger Summers, chairman of the Santa Ana Heights Project Advisory Committee, an appointed panel of 12 residents and business people who oversee the area for the county.
The sign will lend distinction to the community within Santa Ana Heights, similar to Mesa Verde in Costa Mesa or Balboa Island in Newport Beach.
Santa Ana Heights is an unincorporated area between Newport Beach and Costa Mesa.
The sign will be posted at Mesa Drive and Birch Street by the end of the year, county officials said.
