Three boys were wounded Friday when a gunman opened fire on them at a county park in Watts, a park police captain said.

The shooting occurred about 3:30 p.m. in Will Rogers Memorial Park at 103rd Street and Central Avenue, Park Police Capt. Carl Moore said.

The victims were ages 10, 14 and 17, Moore said, adding that the gunman, a possible gang member, was aiming at one of the boys, but wounded all three. The identities of the victims were withheld.
