Gennaro Hits Two Home Runs for Vigilantes
Brad Gennaro hit two home runs and drove in five runs as the Vigilantes rallied from a five-run deficit to beat host Reno, 10-9, in a Western League baseball game Tuesday.
Mission Viejo trailed, 5-0, after two innings but started to rally when Alan Burke hit a two-run homer in the third. Kendrick Davis homered in the fifth and the Vigilantes went up, 6-5, on a run-scoring single by Burke and two-run homer by Gennaro also in the fifth.
After Reno tied it with a run in the sixth, Sam Voita had an RBI single and Gennaro hit a three-run homer in the seventh.
Reno scored once in the ninth and had the tying run at second but reliever Josh Belovsky got the final out.
