Ventura County voters will cast ballots today in a host of local races, including those to determine successors to Republican state Assembly members Brooks Firestone and Nao Takasugi and the next county supervisors in Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks.
Voters also will choose among candidates for Superior Court judge, county auditor, county assessor and county superintendent of schools.
And in the Conejo Valley, voters will decide which of three Republican challengers will face U.S. Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Sherman Oaks) in November’s general election.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Those who need help locating polling places can call Ventura County election officials at 654-2766.
