Ninety people were arrested and 10 vehicles seized in Pico Rivera on Sunday night as police continued efforts to crack down on cruising.

Sixty officers patrolled sections of Beverly, Washington and Whittier boulevards between 5 p.m. and 1 a.m. as more than 5,000 cruisers crawled up and down city streets after a car show in Industry, Sgt. Kevin Lloyd said Monday.

Police arrested 70 adults and 20 juveniles for various misdemeanors and felonies, including illegal possession of firearms and carrying knives, Lloyd said. Among those arrested were residents of Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside counties, he said.
