*** Yeska, “Skafrocubanjazz,” Aztlan. Rarely do syncopated world beats sound so joyously uncomplicated as in this East L.A. band’s debut album, which is overflowing with pizazz. A youthful concoction of instrumental ska and Cuban jazz punctuated by the genial piano of Walter Miranda, “Skafrocubanjazz” is as bitingly refreshing as a bowl of tropical fruit drowned in lime juice and chili powder. The group plays Tuesday at the Key Club in West Hollywood.
