High School Principal Wins Board’s Approval

The Board of Education for the Culver City Unified School District has approved the hiring of a new principal for Culver City High School, officials said.
Kavin Dotson, currently assistant principal at Rialto High School, will take the helm at Culver City High. He will replace principal Marvin Brown, who will become principal at the district’s Culver Park High School.
Dotson, who has taught in Los Angeles, Inglewood, Compton, Lynwood and Rialto, holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Cal State Long Beach.
