HE’S NOT SINGING ANY PRAISES
Italy’s Francesco Moriero, still annoyed that some journalists criticized players for not singing the national anthem, had some criticism himself--of Italian fans.
“We want to know, where are our supporters? At Bordeaux [June 11] against Chile, I saw nothing but Chileans,” Moriero said. “Our supporters are too used to their little comforts. They watch the games on televisions and aren’t able to bother themselves to move.”
