South Coast Chorale, which bills itself as the artistic voice of the gay and lesbian community, kicks off Gay Pride Weekend with a reprise of its musical “OUT!” Written by Steven Landau, the revue was developed from the coming-out stories of chorus members.

Celebrated violinist Itzhak Perlman steps out with four fine klezmer bands--the Klezmatics, Brave Old World, the Klezmer Conservatory Band and the Andy Statman Klezmer Orchestra--for “In the Fiddler’s House,” a program that combines the rhythms and spirit of the Jewish folk tradition with the infectious improvisation of jazz and bluegrass.
