The Volunteer Center Assistance League of Southern California is seeking people to staff a hotline for abused women and to speak at schools as part of a Violence Prevention Team. Volunteers must be available Thursday afternoons for training.
The center is at 8134 Van Nuys Blvd., Suite 200, Panorama City. Volunteers are needed to help set up, maintain and dismantle exhibits during a health fair. Volunteers also are needed to lead hikes and lecture on the ecology, history, management and activities on the Santa Monica Mountains.
