The autopsy of a woman's body found Sunday off Silverado Canyon Road was completed by the coroner's office Monday afternoon, but investigators did not release the identity of the woman or the cause of her death.
The death is being investigated as a homicide, Lt. Lynn Nehring said Sunday, because of "circumstances around the crime scene." The victim's body was discovered by a motorist east of Santiago Canyon Road about 11 a.m.
The victim was described as a Latina 20 to 30 years old. Sheriff's Lt. Tom Garner said the victim was fully clothed but declined to release any other information.
