Vets Offer Low-Cost Vaccinations for Pets

Share

Local veterinarians will again offer low-cost pet vaccinations tonight at the Orange County Animal Shelter in Orange.

State and local laws require that pets older than 4 months have rabies vaccinations. Tonight’s clinic also will offer vaccinations for other diseases. The clinic is open from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the shelter, 561 City Drive South in Orange.

A rabies vaccination for cats and dogs is $4; and a full range of vaccinations is $12.

Although immunizations for other feline and canine diseases are not required by law, they are recommended. The clinic is sponsored by the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association and Orange County Animal Control.
