Thirty-three protesters were arrested Wednesday afternoon during a two-hour demonstration by hotel union members at a busy intersection.
The members of the Hotel and Restaurant Employees Union (Local 11) staged the demonstration during contract renewal talks with the nearby Century Plaza Hotel.
As more than 300 chanting workers lined the sidewalks at Avenue of the Stars and Constellation Boulevard, the 33 protesters entered the intersection and sat in a large circle in the middle of the street.
