* CAL STATE NORTHRIDGE (11-15, 7-9) vs. EASTERN WASHINGTON (16-10, 10-6), 5:30 p.m., Cable Radio Network--Northridge finished seventh in the nine-team Big Sky Conference but squeezed into the tournament at Northern Arizona in Flagstaff as the sixth-seeded team because Portland State is ineligible as a second-year program. Northridge has not won two in a row since early January and will be without center and second-leading scorer Jabari Simmons, who left the team two weeks ago because of personal problems. Mike O’Quinn leads Northridge with averages of 15.6 points and 6.1 rebounds. Eastern Washington, which defeated Northridge in both regular-season meetings, plays an up-tempo style similar to the Matadors. All-Big Sky forward Karim Scott averages 17 points.
