About 150 students could be affected by a proposed boundary change to relieve overcrowding at Faylane Elementary School.

A meeting to discuss the plan will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the school’s multipurpose room, 11731 Morrie Lane.

Under the proposal, about 150 students would be transferred to Simmons Elementary School when it reopens in the fall.

The transfer would apply to students living on Steele Street, Palma Vista, Dino Circle, and the west side of Euclid Street from Katella Avenue to the mobile home park at 11301 Euclid St.

The Board of Education is expected to vote on the issue at its March 17 meeting.
