Motorcyclist Killed in Crash Identified
The motorcyclist who died Saturday night after a collision with a car has been identified as 32-year-old Timothy Angelo of Valencia, according to California Highway Patrol spokesman Doug Sweeney.
The motorcycle was traveling north on The Old Road at 65 mph when it struck the left rear of the car, which was turning left into traffic from a private drive.
Angelo, who police said was wearing a beanie-style helmet, was thrown from his bike, suffering major trauma to his head. He was pronounced dead at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital, a nursing supervisor said.
