Shriners Hospital Services Explained

The Conejo-Westlake Shrine Club is offering an evening presentation March 18 on medical services available for children at the Shriners Hospital in Los Angeles.

The free presentation is open to the public and will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Amgen Conference Center, 1840 De Havilland Drive, in Thousand Oaks, said Alton C. Emerson, past president of the Conejo-Westlake Shrine Club.

Children suffering from orthopedic problems, burns or spinal cord injuries can often receive free medical care at Shriners Hospital, Emerson said.

Refreshments will follow the presentation.
