McRae Helps Aeros Defeat Ice Dogs

HOUSTON — Ken McRae’s slapshot goal helped the Houston Aeros defeat the Ice Dogs, 3-1, Friday night in an International Hockey League game.
The loss snapped the Ice Dogs’ three-game road winning streak.
David Oliver opened the scoring for Houston at 10:03 of the first period. Then McRae made it 2-0 at 12:08.
Long Beach center Kevin Todd narrowed the Aeros lead to 2-1 with his 11th goal of the season 1:15 later in the period.
