Arcadia, the runner-up last year, and Hoover, which has 6-5 third baseman Mark Hull, could press Crescenta Valley for first place. Hull is one of six starters back for Hoover. . . . Glendale lost seven starters, but catcher Ryan Noll returns after batting .457 with 10 doubles and 39 RBIs.
