22-Year-Old Man Shot Twice at Party
A 22-year-old man was released Saturday from the hospital after being shot twice at a party in north Oxnard, police said.
Nicholas Rodriguez was treated at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura.
Police found Rodriguez in the 1300 block of Fuchsia Street about 3:20 a.m. Saturday. Rodriguez had run from a party at a nearby apartment complex on Mariposa Street. He was shot while trying to get to his automobile, police said.
No suspects had been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
