City to Block Access to Residential Street
Residents of Anned Drive will get relief from motorists using their neighborhood as a shortcut between Chapman and Bradford avenues.
The City Council last week agreed to build a barrier to prevent motorists on Chapman from turning onto Anned. Drivers exiting Anned to Chapman will be able to turn only right.
Motorists, many heading to and from nearby Valencia High School, use Anned Drive to avoid delay at the Chapman and Bradford intersection.
The traffic barrier, expected to cost about $4,000, could be completed by June.
