Troy wins--Troy won the league meet for the second straight year but will share the Freeway League title with Sunny Hills, who beat the Warriors in their dual meet this season.

Fabian Ruelas won the 1,600 (4:28.0) and 3,200 (9:52.0) for Sonora. Buena Park’s Joe Thomas took the long (22-1 1/2) and triple jump (42-9 1/2). Aaron Easton of Fullerton won the 100 in 11.1.

In the Garden Grove League boys’ finals:

Davis wins two events--Pacifica’s Bob Davis won the high jump in 6-4 and the triple jump in 42-4. He finished second in the long jump (20-9) behind Garden Grove’s Miguel Medina (20-10 3/8).

Garden Grove’s Matt Revelle won the 100 in 11.68. Revelle also won the 200 (23.65).

Bob Kennedy of Santiago won the 1,600 (4:35.52) and the 3,200 (10:19.48). Junior Faamausil of La Quinta won the shotput (48-11) and the discus (148-2).

In the Golden West League boys’ finals:

Foster wins--DeShaun Foster ran 10.75 in the 100 for Tustin, which won the league championship. Juan Columbie won the shotput (52-6 1/2) and discus (146-4 1/2) for Westminster.

In the Empire League boys’ finals:

Katella wins--Jim Bittner took first in the 110 hurdles (14.68) and the 300 hurdles (38.78) for Katella. He also helped Katella win the 400 relay (44.25) and the 1,600 relay (3:28.13).

In the Empire League girls’ finals:

Katella wins--Jill Santibanez won the 800 in 2:28.29 as Katella won the league championship for the second straight year. Sarah McMillan won the 100 (12.67) and 200 (26.08) for Cypress.

Century’s Aprile Powell won the shotput in 38-7 1/2.

In the Freeway League girls’ finals:

Sunny Hills wins--Triple-winner Sunny Nicholas won the 400 (1:00.24), 100 hurdles (15.31) and 300 hurdles (47.21) to lead Sunny Hills to the league championship with 163 points. Her sister, Stevie, won the high jump (5-4) and long jump (16-7 1/2) for the Lancers.

Erin Sauchelli took the 100 (12.86) and 200 (26.43) for Sunny Hills and Heather Garritson won the 1,600 (5:22.1) and 3,200 (11:48.1) for Buena Park, which finished fourth.

In the Garden Grove League girls’ finals:

Baeder wins two events--Debbie Baeder won the 100 (13.38) and the long jump (16-1) for Bolsa Grande. Baeder also finished second in the 200 (28.03) and third in the triple jump (32-6). Serena Evans of Pacifica won the triple jump (34-0) and teammate Wendi Slaughter won the 200 (28.03). Evans also won the 100 hurdles (16.64).

Pacifica’s Natalie Perkins won the 800 in 2:27.20, the 1,600 (5:35.45) and the 3,200 (11:58.24).

In the Golden West League girls’ finals:

Fabio doubles--Aileen Fabio won the 100 (12.6) and 200 (26.51) for Rosary, which won the league championship.
