SANTA BARBARA--More than 200 local artists and children paint the town in chalk at the I Madonnari Festival next Saturday through Monday. There will also be live entertainment and an Italian market. MONTEREY--The Monterey Peninsula becomes the world’s squid capital next Saturday and Sunday. TEMECULA--Dust off those cowboy boots for Temecula’s Frontier Days Rodeo. Activities kick off Friday night at 7 p.m. with a free outdoor country dance at the Temecula Stage Stop, at 6th and Front streets. Events featuring Professional Rodeo Cowboy Assn. cowboys and cowgirls are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, with the finals at 2 p.m. next Sunday.
