Rehfeld is batting .349 with 14 doubles and 12 stolen bases.

CROSS-COUNTRY

Valley College will field a men’s and women’s program for the first time in five years in the fall. Valley dropped cross-country in 1994 because of financial constraints, but a junior college rule allowed students at the school to run for Mission College from 1994-96.

But when Mission axed its sports programs last summer, those students had no local school to run for.
