IBA Dasher, who came through with a devastating win in her trial for the Kindergarten Futurity 13 days ago, is the even-money favorite against nine other 2-year-olds in the $383,660 Kindergarten Futurity tonight at Los Alamitos.

A daughter of First Down Dash trained by Donna McArthur and owned by Clarence and Jerry Morgan’s Morgan Cattle Company, IBA Dasher finished fifth in her debut at Remington Park on April 3, then won at Los Alamitos three weeks later before capturing her trial in 15.33 seconds. The clocking is believed to be the fastest 300 yards ever run by a 2-year-old at Los Alamitos. Sam Thompson will again be aboard.

The favorite drew post No. 5, right outside Flash First, the 5-2 second choice who was the second fastest qualifier at 15.37 seconds. Also a First Down Dash filly, she will be ridden by current leading rider Eddie Garcia for owner Celina Molina and trainer Jaime Gomez.
