TALLAHASSEE, Fla —
Florida State freshman Matt Diaz hit four home runs to tie a school and regional record and drove in seven runs in the Seminoles’ 23-2 victory over Oklahoma in the Atlantic II regional Saturday.
Diaz had hit three homers Friday in a 27-6 victory over Delaware.
The 50 runs scored by Florida State in two games broke an NCAA regional record set by USC in 1990.
The Seminoles advanced to a final game against Auburn, which won twice on Saturday.
