Residents Invited to Give Ideas on Budget
At the direction of the City Council, city financial staff will host a public meeting for residents to learn more about the budget and make suggestions on how the money should be used.
At 6:30 p.m. June 3 in the community room at City Hall, residents will be able to review the city’s preliminary 1998-99 budget.
The process was designed by City Council members to give residents a say in how the budget is developed and the money used.
The city may hold a series of additional meetings throughout June, but dates have not been decided.
Copies of the budget will be available for review beginning Friday at City Hall at 2929 Tapo Canyon Road, or at the Ventura County Library at 2969 Tapo Canyon Road.
